Love the Word, Learn the Word, Live the Word is our 40 Days in God’s Word study beginning in February 2012. This 6-week sermon series plus six small group studies consists of the following parts: Why Historians Take The Gospel Seriously, The Reliability Of The New Testament, Top Ten Reasons We Know The New Testament Is True, Following Jesus On The Reliability Of Scripture and A Biblical View Of Truth. Participant books ($10) and DVD’s will be used during small group sessions. Groups start the week of February 19, 2012. A Tuesday night group will be held at the Johnsons’ and a Thursday night group at the Chardon Chalet. Sign up Sundays by noting your interest on a prayer slip. “God’s Forgiveness” is Sunday’s message taken from Psalm 51. CRAVE 631 Sunday will have you experience a typical evening of music, instruction and application. Join us this Sunday, 10 am, the Concord Community Center. You will be blessed! Who are in your circles of Influence? Do you know someone who might enjoy or benefit from a small group learning how to study the Bible for themselves? Write down the names of two individuals from your friends, family, fun activities, fellowships, firm or factory. Then pray for these individuals asking God who to invite to our 40 Days in the Word campaign. Check your email to download this worksheet. Are you a Martyr for Jesus? We all should be! I am so looking forward to hearing your testimony! It will encourage my heart and those in attendance on Sunday morning. Learn your “Oops!” “Ugh!” “Aha!” and “Yea!” and testify for Jesus. When you get your call to share on a Sunday morning, say, “Yes!” I am praying for six Sunday mornings of testimonies during our 40 Days in the Word campaign. Check your email to download this worksheet. Who Do You Think You Are? is the series of messages following our Easter service. These encouraging messages will lead you through being an ambassador, masterpiece, over-comer and salt and light. Courageous is the series of messages starting Mothers’ Day through Fathers’ Day. We will use themes from the recent hit movie Courageous to teach truths about parenting and raising children. You probably know friends who could use these lessons on the family. During this series save your coinage for an offering to Hannah’s House in Mentor. |
